Industrial Sourcing
Without the Runaround
We find the equipment, transport, vessels and contractors that are hard to find — and we tell you plainly when something cannot be found.
Six stages,
no guesswork
Submit Requirements
Tell us the category, the project, the dates and the technical spec. Attach an RFQ, drawings or a lift plan if you have them — it makes the search faster and far more accurate.
Pay the Sourcing Fee
A non-refundable fee for the search itself, not the asset. It is what separates a serious project from a speculative enquiry, and your request becomes active the moment it clears.
We Review & Validate
We pressure-test the request before spending anyone’s time — checking the spec is coherent, the dates are achievable and the scope is something our network can actually deliver.
We Source
We work the supplier network directly: who holds the asset, whether they can genuinely deliver it on your dates, and what it takes to get it to your site.
You Receive Options
Suitable suppliers, quotations and the trade-offs between them — presented plainly. If nothing suitable exists, we tell you that instead of padding the list.
Arrangements Confirmed
You choose. We support the final commercial arrangements between you and the supplier, and stay involved until the asset is where it needs to be.

We charge before we start. Here is exactly why.
Sourcing real assets means calling real suppliers, checking real availability and putting our name behind the request. The fee filters serious projects from speculative enquiries, so the projects that are serious get our full attention.
The fee is non-refundable once sourcing begins, and it is charged for the work of searching — not for the equipment. It is separate from, and never counted toward, the final supplier, rental, transport, charter or procurement cost.
- What it covers
- Research, supplier outreach, availability checks, request administration and initial sourcing work.
- What it does not cover
- The asset itself, rental or charter rates, transport, mobilisation, permits or any third-party supplier cost.
- What it does not do
- It does not reserve equipment and it does not guarantee that a suitable asset will be available.
- When it is charged
- At submission. Your request becomes active only once payment succeeds — the fee varies by category and urgency, and is shown to you before you pay.
Answers Before You Ask
The questions clients actually open with. If yours is not here, the full list covers suppliers, timelines and international requests.
01Is the sourcing fee refundable?
No. Once our team begins sourcing work the fee is non-refundable, because the work — supplier calls, availability checks, research — has already been carried out. It is a fee for that work, not a deposit against a purchase.
02Does paying guarantee you will find what I need?
No, and we will not tell you otherwise. The fee buys a professional search across our supplier network. Availability depends on the market, the specification and the timeline. If we cannot find a suitable option we tell you plainly.
03Does Ravalent own the equipment?
No. We are an intermediary, not a dealer or rental yard. We do not hold stock, which is the point — we are free to recommend whichever supplier genuinely fits the job rather than the one we happen to own.
04How long does sourcing usually take?
It depends on how specialised the asset is. Common equipment often moves quickly; heavy-lift cranes, offshore vessels and unusual specifications take longer. We give you a realistic timeline once we have reviewed your request, and we would rather quote a slower honest date than a fast optimistic one.
05What information do I need to provide?
The category, your project details, dates and location, and the technical requirements for what you need. Supporting documents — an RFQ, scope of work, drawings or a lift plan — make sourcing considerably faster and more accurate. You can upload them with the request.
06Do you accept international requests?
Yes. We are based in Trinidad & Tobago and work across the Caribbean and internationally, on both land and marine scopes.
